Firmware update: WFT compatibility and noise in Bulb mode

Canon released today a firmwre update for EOS 5d Mark II. Two improvement are added into this firmware:

1. Compatibility with WFT-E4 II wireless file transmitter
2. Corrects a phenomenon where noise is visible in long exposure images.

Firmware Update to come

Today Canon announced they are working on a firmware update for EOS 5D Mark II. The new firmware will enable recording of high definition video at 24 and 25fps as a result of feedback received from cinematographers and photographers.
The update will be release in the first quarter of 2010.
